Veeva Systems Inc. is seeking a Solution Consultant reporting to Pleasanton, CA (HQ). Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Up to 15% domestic travel required.

Job Duties: Support the sales process by analyzing and understanding customer requirements to configure and deliver best-in-class technical solutions; Prepare and deliver solution-oriented responses and presentations to Requests for Proposals/Information; Lead workshops, conference room pilots (sandbox exercises), and proof of concepts; Work with cross-functional team members to ensure customer success and deliver value; Support marketing activities such as recording videos, presenting webinars, and attending conferences. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Position requires 15% of domestic travel.

Job Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other closely related degrees and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related pre-sales occupation in life sciences industry. Must have 3 years of experience in the following skills: Commercial or clinical, quality or manufacturing operations in the pharmaceutical/biotech or medical device/diagnostics sector; Bringing products to market in a software company; Quality Management, Document Management, or Training/Learning Management software systems; Implementing technical solutions at customer sites; Experience in a presales or equivalent customer facing role.

Travel Requirement: Position requires 15% domestic travel.

Salary and Benefits: $153,000 - $163,000/yr. Salary ranges listed in compliance w/ local regs & reps a potential base salary range for this role. Actual salaries may vary depending on exp & location.
