Registered Behavior Technician/Autism Technician

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Autism Technician (AT) functions primarily as a direct support instructor of autism specific individualized interventions utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The RBT/AT will be supervised by a licensed psychologist and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsible for implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs utilizing ABA principles, as designed by the BCBA. RBT/AT Implements programming in one on one or group settings. Collects and records data to track client behavior throughout intervention sessions, according to the guidelines provided by his/her treatment plan. Works collaboratively and demonstrates a professional attitude with clinical team members including Psychologist, BCBA, BCaBA, RBTs, ATs, parents and other professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care for the individual.
