Senior Financial Analyst (Job ID: 1564)
This full-time, day shift Senior Financial Analyst in the Accounting department is responsible for analysis of financial and operational data and designing, developing, and maintaining the decision support and cost accounting function while providing meaningful analysis and reporting to leadership. The position also supports management in the annual strategic planning process and the Third Party cost report function. This position keeps current on cost analysis techniques and methodologies, performs audits to ensure data integrity, understands reimbursement techniques, and continuously strives to improve the value of analytics for all stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining software for improved technology, seeking and recommending improved methodologies for data accumulation, presentation, and analysis.
Qualifications
- Degree from a recognized college or university with either a major in accounting, finance, or general business administration required.
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare finance or related area preferred. Experience with third-party reimbursement is preferable.
- MBA and/or CPA is highly desirable.
- Proficient computer skills including advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, graphics, databases, etc. preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills preferred.
