The Global Education & Leadership Foundation (tGELF) is a non-profit that seeks to identify and nurture leadership skills in individuals who are rooted in the values of ethics and altruism with a bias for decisive action.

Since 2008, our innovative curriculum on ethical leadership and entrepreneurship has reached 14 countries for over 3 million students. In 2016, we organized the first ever Global Citizen Festival India concert in Mumbai, which impacted the lives of over 500 million people and raised over $6.38 bn dollars in commitments from governments, philanthropists, and multilaterals for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our other flagship projects include the Shuruaat Bus initiative, in partnership with NITI Aayog, Government of India, and Facebook, leading to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Hyderabad, as well as various contests and conferences featuring renowned speakers.
About 2020 Entrepreneurship Initiatives:

tGELF is collaborating with partners to lead 3 entrepreneurship initiatives in 2020: Entrepreneurship World Cup, COVID-19 Challenge, and Social Entrepreneurship Challenge.

Any Idea. Any Stage. Everywhere. The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) is one of the world’s largest and most diverse entrepreneurship competitions in the world. In our inaugural launch in 2019, we received over 100,000 applications from 187 countries in the effort to democratize entrepreneurship and solve the problem of job creation globally. This year we plan to take the EWC experience to another level in our new virtual format! At the Global EWC Finals, 111 of the best startups in the world will compete for 1 Billion USD worth of cash and in-kind prizes! Are you convinced yet? The Entrepreneurship Challenge is not just a pitch competition, it’s a life-changing experience. It’s the World Cup for Startups. Join us!

Innovative solutions to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. tGELF has launched the COVID-19 Challenge to support and invigorate high potential solutions start-ups addressing COVID-19. The best ready-to-scale startups will win prizes and support from tGELF and partners including the World Economic Forum (WEF) to help them scale and grow. The top-15 solutions will receive access to investor networks, be showcased at the World Economic Forum's Sustainable Development Summit in September and potentially secure a manufacturing deal.

Sportification and Gamification. New in 2020, tGELF is launching the Entrepreneurship Sports league to bring entrepreneurship to mass audiences in an accessible and fun format. With tGELF’s strong partnership ecosystem and human architecture, winning social entrepreneurs will be provided with the resources to scale their ideas.
