uLEAD Youth Online Platform
The Global Education & Leadership Foundation welcomes young individuals with a bias for ethics, change making, and decisive action to join the 2020 Internship and Volunteering Programs with our community action platform, uLEAD. The Program will give successful candidates immense exposure to global community engagement and online innovation, as well as product management, content planning, and much more. Candidates will become part of a young international team and will be able to contribute to the ongoing project in multiple ways.

About tGELF:

The Global Education & Leadership Foundation (tGELF) is a non-profit that seeks to identify and nurture leadership skills in individuals who are rooted in the values of ethics and altruism with a bias for action.

In the last decade, tGELF’s flagship school curriculum on ethical leadership and entrepreneurship has expanded from just six schools in India to over across 14 countries, now reaching more than 3 million students.

tGELF’s community of future leaders and change-makers have also undertaken numerous high impact projects that have collectively impacted the lives of over 500 million people and raised over $6.38 bn dollars in commitments from governments, philanthropists, corporations and multilaterals for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our high impact projects include Global Citizen India, Entrepreneurship World Cup, and Shuruaat Bus. About uLEAD:

Contribute. uLEAD, tGELF’s new online platform, centralises the energy of young leaders across the globe to work together to solve pressing global issues; expedite their personal growth through our LEAD values; and use their unique talents to give back to their local and global communities.

As a first of its kind social impact focused online platform, uLEAD draws together individuals from our various ecosystems to accelerate action on a global scale. We created uLEAD to connect young leaders and professionals who are interested in building solutions to further the UN Sustainable Development Goals; to provide a singular place to find new opportunities to give back and get involved; to share relevant content for change makers; and much more. Currently, uLEAD centers around the coronavirus pandemic, and in the future it will become the hub for building solutions around all major world issues.



We are a small but driven, hard-working, and entrepreneurial team eager to constantly improve uLEAD for our global community. We welcome interested individuals with a knack for creativity, innovation, and analysis, with a passion for social impact to help transform uLEAD into the premier hub for young leaders and change-makers!
There are two tracks to get involved and contribute with your unique skills: Full-time and Part-time interns. Part-time interns with uLEAD contribute to our work on a flexible basis
determined by your availability and expertise. Interns work full-time with us each day. A limited number of paid internships are available for highly qualified individuals. Those who get involved with us will focus on one of our core areas and goals listed below (those who spend more time with us may work between more than one core area, and with other projects, such as the EWC).

Whether you join as a full-time or part-time intern, you will have the fun of participating in our unique gamification system which puts these teams in a competition to reach their goals! The

teams will set monthly objectives, and the teams who reach theirs will win curated rewards and prizes.





Core Areas & Goals:


1.         Community Engagement & Expansion: Community Managers. This team connects our diverse community.
○     Developing unique online events and live webinar structures to connect the global community
○     Co-managing Slack affinity channels to connect various community members by interest area

2.           Product Design & Development: Techies. The team finds new tech solutions for uLEAD
○     Researching the latest online trends and software capabilities to enhance new platform changes and improvements
○     Developing regular analysis reports from tools like Intercom, Fullstory, and MixPanel
○     Conducting persona research and creating beta testing groups for new ideas and potential features

3.         Gamification & Incentives: Experience curators. They work to make our uLEAD fun and relevant to what young people really want.
○     Participating in brainstorming sessions about what incentives could draw more young leaders to the platform
○     Conducting research on various gamification models and how they could be implemented on uLEAD

4.         Content Creation & Curation: Creative gurus. This team creates interesting content.
○     Creating new viral content and challenges for social media
○     Researching unique opportunities to volunteer or donate one's time to COVID-19 relief efforts to be shared on uLEAD
○     Writing and compiling content to be shared across channels like our LEAD Feed and LEADinside, our weekly newsletter

5.         Human Capital: Talent Management. The team works to acquire and manage the interns we on-board.
○     Interviewing potential candidates and conducting check-ins and exit interviews
○      Liaisoning with team leads to ensure that interns are working and feeling engaged in the program
○     Creating processes and systems to ensure that the internship program is as successful as possible

Remuneration: Applicable for a select number of highly qualified intern candidates

Employment Details: Full-time is preferred, part-time can be handled on a case to case basis. Preference given to those deferring their fall semester.
