Electronics Assembly Technician

Position Overview
If you are a highly motivated professional who welcomes new challenges, Grenova Inc. is looking for a skilled Electronics Assembly Technician. Join us and develop professional skills working with a multi-disciplinary manufacturing team. Under limited supervision, the Electronics Assembly Technician performs a wide variety of moderately difficult electronic subassembly and assembly operations of a skilled nature to build up and assemble simple units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, PCB boards, and electronic systems. Determines methods and sequence of assembly operations where complete information is not readily available or follows assembly shop and production operation sheets, wire lists, samples, drawings, schematic and verbal instructions to perform a wide variety of assembly operations such as wiring, component installation and hand soldering, utilizing small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers. Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units. This is an hourly, full-time position. 

Requirements
·        2+ years of Electronics Assembly experience (large and small components)
·        Mechanical background
·        Documentation and data entry skilled required
·        High School Diploma
·        Requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education, or training

Preferred Experience
·        Associate’s or bachelor’s degree
·        Proven experience as an assembler
·        4+ years of work experience as an Electronics Assembler
·        Recent Medical device assembly experience
 
Responsibilities
·        Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment
·        Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements
·        Must have good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures, and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which the job is based
·        Work within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines
·        Maintain a clean working area and ensure all equipment remains in optimal condition
·        Always operate as a team player and assist in all aspects of the company
