Homecare Agency Summer Interns - Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan & Bronx

Job Description:  True Care has openings for various administrative roles that include specialists, coordinators and client service representatives. This person will serve as a liaison between employees, internal departments, and external parties, including vendors, Home Health Aides, and patients. They are responsible being brand ambassadors of the company while handling clerical and administrative duties improving office processes and policies.
Responsibilities include :
  • Coordinates placement of services between clients and the Caregivers
  • Maintains and documents communication with Caregivers
  • Maintains a schedule of all services per month.
  • Coordinates placement of Caregivers based on patient request
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy with dignity and respect.
  • Answers telephone, records and relays messages to appropriate personnel.
  • Manages telephone calls in a supportive, reassuring manner for patients, families, physicians, and others
  • Be the liaison between the patient, patient’s family, contract & agency
  • Manages the care service provided for their census
  • Manages all aspects of attendance by confirming caregiver attendance, monitoring missed visits and missed attendance.
  • Being the advocate for all patients
  • Communicates with the team lead about concerns, accusations or difficult to staff cases
Job requirements:
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
  • Outgoing, positive personality with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
  • The ability to multitask and work an extremely fast pace environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when handling employee issues
  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited school.
  • Knowledge of HHA eXchange preferred
