Junior Trader - STIR
Responsibilities
- Learning and building investment strategies on-the-job with a Portfolio Manager (PM) mentor
- Generating and executing trade ideas
- Risk management of Trade
- Assisting the STIR PM with various tasks
- Eventually, generating profit in your book under the supervision of Portfolio Manager
- Absorption into the desk will depend on performance in the Junior Trader programme, evaluated over 12 months
- This is NOT a pure execution role

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Math, Science, Finance, Economics or Engineering from a top-tier school preferred
- Up to 3 years of work experience on a STIR/ Rates desk
- Programming ability in Python is required
Compensation
- Total compensation US$100,000 per annum
For overseas candidates:
- Relocation Allowance (one-time, on joining): US$10,000 to cover flights, temporary housing and other costs
- 4 weeks serviced accommodation
