Junior Trader - STIR

Responsibilities
  • Learning and building investment strategies on-the-job with a Portfolio Manager (PM) mentor
  • Generating and executing trade ideas
  • Risk management of Trade
  • Assisting the STIR PM with various tasks
  • Eventually, generating profit in your book under the supervision of Portfolio Manager
  • Absorption into the desk will depend on performance in the Junior Trader programme, evaluated over 12 months
  • This is NOT a pure execution role

Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Math, Science, Finance, Economics or Engineering from a top-tier school preferred
  • Up to 3 years of work experience on a STIR/ Rates desk
  • Programming ability in Python is required

Compensation
  • Total compensation US$100,000 per annum
For overseas candidates:
  • Relocation Allowance (one-time, on joining): US$10,000 to cover flights, temporary housing and other costs
  • 4 weeks serviced accommodation
