Peachford Hospital is searching for an experienced HR Coordinator to support the operations of our busy Human Resources Department. 

What Role Will You Play?
As an integral member of the Human Resources Team, the HR Coordinator facilitates the administrative and clerical support functions of HR processes.

What Will You Get To Do?
The HR Coordinator is responsible for completing the duties and tasks listed below. Other duties such as recruiting and employee relations may be assigned based on the experience of the incumbent:

· Welcome HR visitors and callers using the hospital standards of Service Excellence. Answer routine HR questions and requests, referring difficult situations to the appropriate party.

·  Coordinate pre-employment/onboarding processes for new hires.

· Enter and maintain employee data into Lawson HRIS system. Prepare reports as directed. Track and maintain required licenses and certifications, onboarding records, performance evaluations and competencies.   

· Prepare materials and supplies for New Employee Orientation. 

· Assemble and maintain Employee and contractor HR files in standard format ensuring compliance to hospital and regulatory standards/requirements. High volume of filing required.

· Assist in recruitment, performance management, employee relations and staff competency assessment activities.

·  Update job descriptions and competencies. 

·  Produce HR correspondence to employees including the monthly newsletter. Assist with hospital and public communication initiatives and with employee relations activities.

What Does Peachford Require for this Role?
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is preferred for this role. An equivalent combination education and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
