Capital Markets Intern

Capital Markets Intern
The Capital Markets Intern will support the Capital Markets Group. The Capital Markets Group is responsible for sourcing, structuring and assisting its member associations located in 18 Eastern states and Puerto Rico in loan origination to small and mid-size companies. The Capital Markets Group also serves as an important resource on how best to structure and price loans. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the loan markets and the importance of syndicated lending. The intern will assist with several key projects, such as: establishing prospect database to assist in business development, research and compilation of loan information for inclusion into a loan database, and assist with disseminating important articles and data through our internal website to its member associations. In addition, the intern will assist in preparing pitch books and internal presentations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with emphasis in Finance/Math/Statistics/Risk Management/Economics
  • General understand of GAAP
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg
  • Strong data presentation skills including proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel (pivot tables, macros, solver)
