Typical work assignments include:
- Assists with the development of systems security contingency plans;
- Assists with risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs;
- Ensures information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices are in compliance which relates to the delivery of IT services; and
- Assists in gathering and preserving evidence used in the prosecution of computer crimes.
