International Accountant Intern

The international accounting intern provides support to the international accounting team within HOPE’s finance department. The functions of the team include supervision and provision of accounting assistance to HOPE International’s (HOPE) network of microfinance institutions (MFIs) and savings group programs (SGs) within the areas of accounting and financial analysis. These functions are performed through working with the international accounting team in the US, as well as local accounting field staff, to ensure strong accounting and finance practices and compliance with HOPE’s accounting policies and procedures, particularly as it relates to the consolidation of local financial statements into HOPE International and HOPE’s annual audit preparation. The team works closely with the internal audit, finance, and operations staff of HOPE in Lancaster and the local finance staff in the countries we serve.

While HOPE internships and fellowships are unpaid, there is a monthly living stipend available to all interns and fellows.
