Senior Environmental Scientist (Enforcement)

DUTY

Under general direction of the Environmental Program Manager I, the incumbent at this full journey level position performs professional scientific analyses and fieldwork associated with the use of pesticides. In practice, this means evaluating the effectiveness of local programs at achieving compliance through outreach, inspections, investigations, permitting and taking fine-penalty actions.

Applicants should have demonstrated ability to enforce complex requirements, train others, conduct field investigations, analyze data, and write coherent evaluations.
