Middle/Upper School Math Teacher

 

St. David’s School in Raleigh, NC seeks an accomplished and collaborative educator, called to invest in the lives of middle and upper school students, to join the math department, teaching courses that may range from middle school math through upper-level AP courses. 

Well-suited candidates will be competent mathematicians, lovers of the quantitative language of the universe and dedicated to guiding their students toward deep conceptual understanding as well as procedural fluency. They will also have a history of nurturing intellectual curiosity across a broad developmental range through a classroom ethos that celebrates robust inquiry, creative thought, disciplined reasoning and a genuine love of continued learning in their students.
