Digital Marketing Intern, SEO (Part-Time Internship)

[Location: Remote - United States] 

Trusted Media Brands, Inc. (TMBI) is seeking a Digital Marketing (SEO) Intern with a background in digital content creation, journalism, communications or data analytics. This is a remote part-time position working with SEO Analysts in Milwaukee, WI and New York City, NY. The position is for approximately 20 hours / week.

This role will partner deeply with SEO team leads to deliver topic and keyword direction that informs the content creation process. At the same time, you will learn about introductory SEO and apply its learnings to the content curation process across one of our portfolio of brands- Taste of Home or Family Handyman.

SEO, also known as Search Engine Optimization, is a digital marketing strategy that focuses on growing organic traffic to a website. We are looking for a candidate interested in learning about this industry to help grow our brands’ digital presence.

Important things you’ll work on: 
  • Conduct and deliver keyword research to inform new content ideas
  • Research new article ideas for the editorial team
  • Engage in internal linking projects to connect related content across the website
  • Prepare detailed analytic reports to inform key stakeholders
  • Work within SEO tools/apply data to competitor research and ad-hoc requests
  • Learn and stay up to date on SEO trends and news

Attributes we’re looking for:
  • Background in marketing, data analysis, communications, journalism or related field is a plus
  • Strong interest in digital marketing
  • Strong time management and analytics skills
  • Prior experience with excel like spreadsheets or data management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new SEO skills and techniques
  • Interest in lifestyle brands
