Program Coordinator Consultant
This position has temp-to-perm potential.
The Challenge
We are looking for an experienced program coordinator with consulting skills to join our DMV team in our brand-new Rocky Mount headquarters. In this strategic role you will work on programs and projects to help drive high performance, innovation, and efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Manage NCDMV programs and projects.
- Serve as a:
- DMV Hearing Officer
- Lead consultant
- Program manager
- Project manager
- Perform a variety of work related to program and project management helping us develop and maintain a productive and collaborative work environment and assess and respond to client needs.
- Interpret and apply program policies and practices.
- Provide consultation and perform program/project administration.
- Conduct research and analysis, lead program marketing, and supervise staff.
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of public and business administration
- Consulting skills in modernizing procedures, practices, and equipment
- General knowledge of personnel policies and procedures
- Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
- Ability to initiate, coordinate, and evaluate administrative programs and procedures
- Excellent judgment and discretion in establishing, applying, and interpreting policies and procedures
- Excellent communications and relationship skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency personnel, officials, and the general public
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience; or
- An equivalent combination of training and experience.
