This position is located in the Department of Commerce's, International Trade Administration, Office of Public Affairs, Washington, District of Columbia. The primary purpose of this position is to manage personnel and resources for the Office of Public Affairs with day-to-day responsibility for press and program operations.


Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing an ITA external and internal communications program, including the development and implementation of a plan and process that results in providing information of value and interest to agency stakeholders and employees.
  • Engaging in intra- organizational working groups to provide communication solutions.
  • Directing a communication team to develop and execute the ITA communication plan and generate coverage for ITA in U.S. and international press.
