Intern - Sales Engineering - Summer 2021

Job Summary
Lumen’s internship program is a 10 week, fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience within your field of study and career interest. Interns within the Strategic Enterprise and Public Sector organization will be part of an accelerated learning experience, to challenge skills learned in the classroom and develop new skills while working on active Lumen work projects. An intern within this group will be exposed to the solution design to meet customer technical challenges to further their business objectives. The goal is to create a long-term strategy to ensure customer success. The internship will take place in Broomfield, CO or Littleton, CO. In addition, interns will connect to our company culture through community outreach projects, engage with our employee resource groups and be able to develop their professional skills and business acumen through frequent exposure to senior leadership, cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking projects, and a network of mentors and fellow interns. Job Description
•   Work with team of Sales Engineers to assist with administrative tasks, design drawings and determining where there are gaps to help connect our customers with other partners. 
•   Pulling and reviewing current customer inventories.
•   Enter technical requirements into order tools. 
•   Work with KMZ files for network mapping. 
•   Attend calls with sales for note taking and gathering details.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
•   Pursing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Sales related course of study preferred. 
•   Classification: entering senior status at start of internship, specifically interested in December 2021 graduates. 
•   Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college (graduating after August 2021).
•   Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred.
•   Must have transportation to/from work daily.
•   Must be available to work 30 – 40 hours, during the specified 10-week timeframe.
•   Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
•   Knowledge of Visio.
•   General website form navigation.
•   Familiarity with Google earth. 
•   SalesForce experience a plus. 
•   Basic IP networking, cloud compute knowledge preferred.
