Policy Effectiveness and Assessment Summer Intern

The PEA - Policy Effectiveness and Assessment section conducts economic analysis and research to inform policymakers and the public and help shape the division’s policy agenda.
The intern will work on various data collections from supervised banks and on other financial datasets. They may access databases using SQL, update or create new data quality rules, and test various data processes. The interns may also develop new processes for analyzing financial data, document processes for the data, or otherwise analyze data under the direction of permanent staff. Programming skills in SQL, R, or Python are desired.
Over the course of the internship, the student will:
• Improve upon data management and organizational skills
• Improve upon analytical skills
While completing the above learning objectives, a student will gain experience using data management and analytical software. In addition, during the course of the internship, the student will gain exposure to various aspects of the regulatory framework for US banks.

Salary listed is minimum offered.
