LISCC Integration Summer Intern

The LISCC Integration intern will:
  1. Contribute to high-quality informational and analytical products on matters affecting LISCC firms for governors, senior management, and LISCC program needs.
  2. Perform quantitative and/or qualitative analyses to inform impact assessments of various policy options related to major proposals.
  3. Assists staff with special studies and projects relating to financial institution supervision or regulation or new financial products and activities that requires considerable data gathering and evaluation.
  4. Assists in the preparation of written reports to the Board or the Division Oversight Committee concerning the status of specific institutions or concerning developing trends and issues in the financial environment.
  5. Assist senior staff in the policy development and implementation process for rules and supervisory guidance that impact large financial institutions. 
  6. Assists higher level staff in coordinating with Reserve Banks and other Board Division representatives in conjunction with section responsibilities.
  7. Maintain and update quarterly reports and assist staff with processing information sharing request.
Over the course of the internship, the student will:
  • Improve upon written skills
  • Improve upon data analytical and research skills
  • Participate and learn about the policy development process
  • Participate and learn about the large Bank supervisory process
While completing each of the above learning objectives, a student will gain experience regulatory and supervisory topics, participate in enhancements to current processes, and help determine if a regulatory career would be of potential interest upon graduation.
