LISCC Office of the OC Summer Intern

The LISCC Office of the OC (OOC) intern will have the opportunity to support the managers and supervisory/operations analysts within the national operations function of the LISCC portfolio. The intern will gain broad understanding and experience of the day-to-day operations of a national supervisory program with 600+ staff. The intern will be provided meaningful assignments and rotate through the OOC functional areas: Communications, Corporate Secretary, HR, Operations, Quality Control, and Reporting & Technology. This will afford the opportunity to learn from many perspectives while assisting in these key OOC functions. The intern’s s work will culminate with a completed project that will benefit the LISCC portfolio by recommending potential areas/opportunities for improving operational efficiencies. The intern will have an opportunity to meet with senior LISCC leaders and learn about the supervision of the world’s largest, most complex financial institutions. Over the course of the internship, the student will: 
• Perform ad hoc assignments in support of key OOC business objectives including process improvement goals 
• Produce well-constructed, organized visual presentations and data structures in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. 
• Improve upon their program and project management skills
• Leverage interpersonal & collaboration skills through various working relationships with a range of stakeholder within the OOC, LISCC Program, and key Board & System stakeholders to provide recommendations for process improvements 
While completing the learning objectives, the intern will gain experience with assimilating new information, problem-solving, strategic thinking, planning for longer term goals/objectives, balancing multiple priorities/meeting tight deadlines
