Administrative Assistant - Medical Examiners/Podiatry

Processes Physician Assistant initial, limited, volunteer, renewal, reinstatement, name change, address change, and duplicate license application requests for Medical licensure (via CAMP and on-line) according to established agency, board laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Processes CME Audit(s) when required. Reviews and evaluates documents, ensures all necessary requirements for licensure are complied with and upon completion of the application process, issues certificates/licenses. Notifies the Board Administrator of any non-routine applications with any required background information that requires Administrator approval. Serves as backup for processing other Board applications and forms as requested. Utilizes database and applicable software to perform licensing processes. Assembles, prepares, and scan documents to licensure records utilizing imaging equipment and ensures the quality of records. Inputs clear notations in ReLAES as a communication resource. Responds to all inquiries for assistance related to the Medical and Podiatry licensure processes. Provides information concerning licensing procedures, requirements and qualifications. Assist Board and Committee members with coordinating upcoming Board and Committee meetings to include the preparation and administration of the agendas, notebooks, minutes, travel support documents and notifies licensee or applicant of Board/Committee decision as it pertains to the request for application approval. Provides accurate information via telephone, fax, e-mail and mail requests for Medical and Podiatry boards according to established agency, board laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Performs other duties as requested.
