Hanover’s Virtual LEAD Externship Event 2021

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking to host exceptional college students for its Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) Externship in January 2021. The Virtual LEAD Externship is a half-day immersion experience that provides college students with a meaningful opportunity to introduce them to rewarding careers within the Insurance industry.

The Hanover’s LEAD Externship provides college students with the opportunity to match their interests to a real job in insurance and learn about the current internship and full-time opportunities. Through the event, this will allow participants to witness an introduction to the insurance world and its careers, internship curriculum, and the employee development that Hanover has to offer via an informational session. We will also have managers, subject matter experts, and recent graduates present on our Hanover culture, values, and Inclusion & Diversity efforts to showcase our dynamic industry and organization. While the Externship Program specifically focuses on freshmen and sophomores, all class years are encouraged to apply.

Date and Length: The Hanover’s Virtual LEAD Externship Program will be a half-day event held on Friday, January 29th, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm EST.

Application Timeline: We will be taking applications for our Virtual LEAD Externship on a rolling basis from December 2020 until January 18th, 2021. The first 100 applicants will receive an email with more information including an agenda, appointment confirmation, and TEAMS link to participate in the event. We receive a high volume of applications for our Externship each year and thank you for your patience during our application process.
