Software Analyst

Target Start Date of March 2021

The Software Analyst performs basic analysis, design, programming, modifications, builds and maintenance of specialized software systems. The Analyst formulates technical specifications for complex software applications, modifications to existing applications, and integration with external systems. The Analyst consults with customers regarding the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the system. The Analyst participates in multiple phases of the software development lifecycle from the review of initial requirements, to the support of system test procedures and delivery documentation.

For our Professional Services Organization (PSO)- Implementation; From design to go-live, the Professional Services team helps our customers implement our supply chain and omnichannel software solutions, ensuring a successful launch. Travel up to 50%.

For our Customer Support Organization (CSO)- Post-implementation; the Customer Support team provides support to our customers on real-time issues and during the support transition, minor upgrades, and to ensure success during peak season. Travel up to 30%.


Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical degree; minimum overall GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Co-op or internship experience with object-oriented design and development or component based development in the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with software coding languages, including Java
  • Ability to work individually or in a team, while being self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Additional experience is a plus: web development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS; Unix-based development, C++ and CORBA
  • Must be authorized for employment without sponsorship now and in the future.
