Join us as our Communications Intern. We are looking for results-driven intern who has a hands-on attitude to drive a transformational journey rethinking our customer engagement and communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving entrepreneurial venture.
Welcome to the Global Communications and Brand Americas team. As an Intern, you will gain B2B marketing and communications experience in biotechnology and fast-moving consumer goods industries. The role will provide you with networking opportunities with Novozymes employees, ranging from scientists to business colleagues.
In this role you’ll learn to bring the value propositions and the market insights digitally to life. You will expand and reach consumer product goods (CPG) customers in segments such as Food products (dairy, baking, protein etc.), Beverages (brewing, juice, wine etc.) as well as home care markets (laundry, professional cleaning etc.). Together with the agile cross-functional team (incl. marketeers, account managers and technical experts), you will be using digital tools/strategies to disrupt the marketplace and expand the reach of biological solutions, ultimately serving consumers, who are demanding products and ingredients powered by biological solutions like enzymes and microbes.
Area of responsibilities will also include:
- Execute, measure, and optimize communications plans
- Collect, analyze, and extract insights from market data
- Manage and create content for social media platforms to promote education/awareness and preference for products
- Experience in digital content, platforms, and animation tools (e.g., Drupal, Google Analytics, Pardot, Twenty-three, etc.)
- Preparing presentations and pre-read for meetings with key internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate tasks and ensuring prompt follow ups
To succeed you must:
- Be a current student or graduate with an MBA or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or relevant fields
- Solid organizational skills, ability to maintain task overview and following up promptly
- Ability to work remote and in the Franklinton, NC office
- Have a strong curiosity and ability to create content by copywriting, interviewing, etc.
- Basic knowledge of the impact of social media and digital platforms
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
Location: This job is in Franklinton, NC and will work remotely at first.
