Sales Intern - REMOTE

Responsibilities:
·        One of the goals of the program is to provide exposure to different functional areas of the organization. The Intern will set up time to meet with cross-functional team members in the office to learn more about each role within the business –Leadership, Sales, Analytics, Sales Planning, Demand Planning, Ecommerce, Category Management, and Supply Chain.
·        Interns will have one hero project assigned by manager that they lead from start to finish – at the end of their intern experience, they will present the project deliverable to the sales team. The difficulty level of the project shall be consistent with work that would be given to a full-time entry-level hire. The goal of the project will be something that can be utilized by the business team going forward.
·        Other experiences will include Line Review prep/support – Intern will help support the Planogram setup, sample management & reporting analysis to provide fact-based recommendations.
·        Support eCommerce efforts including assortment analysis and recommendations, forecasting, and on-line audits of content and reviews
·        Assist with Back to School and other Promotional Calendar updates, Promotion Set up and Evaluation, and store audits.
·        Coordinate with Account Management on collecting, preparing and presenting account materials.
·        Collaborate with National Account teams to analyze customer trends and develop action plans.

Qualifications: (State the minimum level of education, certifications, years of experience, and additional qualifications required to perform the job.)
·        Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited four-year college or university and entering your Senior year.
·        Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
·        Minimum GPA of 3.0 is strongly preferred.
·        Must have proven record of commitment, ambition and drive toward establishing and achieving goals.
·        Must be able to work as part of a team and have demonstrated leadership ability.
·        Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential to this position.
·        Analytical and business acumen understanding is strongly preferred.
·        A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle is required.
·        Successful candidates will be outgoing individuals who are results oriented, have a positive attitude and are hardworking, eager and willing to learn.
