Senior Analyst SEC Reporting and Accounting

Requirement: Senior Analyst SEC Reporting and Accounting
SEC Responsibilities:
·        Prepare SEC filings (10Ks, 10Qs, 8Ks, etc.), including financial statements, footnote disclosures, data analysis, integrity validation, XBRL review and filing submission
·        Collaborate with key business partners inside and outside the company, including finance, senior management, investor relations, legal and other functions
·        Review and tie-out quarterly earnings release documents
·        Assist with annual external audit and quarterly reviews, including preparation of supporting audit schedules and serve as a point of contact on financial statement disclosures and tie-out questions
·        Assist with the identification and implementation of new accounting or reporting standards
·        Assist with and/or complete ad hoc projects as requested (e.g. management reports, board presentations, benchmarking filings, research and document issues, special finance projects, etc.)
Accounting Responsibilities:
·        Calculate quarterly stock-based compensation and prepare journal entries
·        Coordinate with stock administration to ensure proper accounting and reporting of equity compensation matters
·        Prepare and maintain lease accounting schedules under ASC 842, including evaluation of new, amended and terminated lease agreements and preparation of related journal entries
·        Perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to recording, reconciling and analyzing G/L accounts and transactions
·        As necessary, contribute to department and organization special projects and perform independent and objective project analysis to support management with the decision-making process
·        Maintain accuracy and integrity of vendor master file
Applicant requirement:
·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields
·        5+ years of relevant experience in audit, accounting or finance, Big 4 or public company experience preferred
·        Understanding and experience with US GAAP and SEC filings
·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to take on new tasks with various levels of difficulty in a fast paced environment
·        Strong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
·        Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work product
·        Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word and Excel capabilities
·        CPA license or working toward it a plus
·        Oracle knowledge a plus
