Marketing Associate Spring/Summer Internship
Certified Financial Services, LLC is looking for a Marketing Intern to join us at our Paramus, NJ office. The Marketing Intern is for a current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing. They will be constructively working with the Marketing Director to position the firm and individual Financial Representatives favorably in appropriate markets. They will strategically work on a mix of marketing strategies and tactics that will promote Certified Financial Services, LLC and its products and services to targeted clients, prospects and to the community at large.
The candidate should be motivated to learn and adapt to a fast-paced work environment and possess creative, quantitative, and organizational skills. Time will be spent working on individual projects as well as interacting with other internal departments and/or field-based reps.
Skills & Interests:
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Adobe Acrobat (preferred)
- Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred): Illustrator
- Technologically savvy
- Good communication and time management skills
- Comfortable networking and interacting with others
Responsibilities:
- Generate new targeted sales leads
- Assist in social media marketing and the distribution of marketing materials
- Assist in coordinating events
- Perform market research on companies and customer outreach
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to the office
- Experience in sales/marketing (preferred)
Notice:
Our office has implemented best practices to keep a safe environment during the ongoing pandemic. Candidate must be comfortable with coming into the office and working from home, if needed.
This is a paid internship at $12/hour
Work hours: 3 days per week (flexible depending on your availability)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Looking for someone who is committed to interning with us beyond the end of the semester.
