Account Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Account Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Manager is the first point of contact with customers, answers their queries, and ensures their experience with TechHouse meets our standards. If you enjoy coming up with effective solutions and working toward achieving goals, this job is right for you. You will use your communication skills to identify our prospects' and clients' needs. You will work with the rest of our sales and operations teams to align our solutions for the most favorable outcomes. Previous customer service experience is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with our organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Gather information on assigned prospects and clients (e.g., company size, needs, industry trends, and pricing plans)
· Contact prospects and clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan
· Provide after-sales support to retain customers
· Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
· Build strong client relationships through regular communication
· Report on the status of accounts
· Suggest company products/services that maximize client effectiveness
· Communicate product and pricing details clearly
· Coordinate with Marketing Team, Account Managers and Operations Team to create customized sales plans for key clients
· Promote new products/services to existing customers
· Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
· Perform other work-related duties as assigned
· Must be able to maintain the tone, tenor, and culture of our organization and brand.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
NOTE: This is an entry-level position. No prior account management-related experience is required. No technical industry experience is required.
· Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent experience in customer service, sales, technical support, or related field.
· A demonstrated track record of the ability to learn
· Excellent writing skills.
· Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
· Problem analysis and problem resolution
· Work effectively with senior-level executives and staff; also be able to work independently
· Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information
· Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
· Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
· Effective presentation and negotiation skills
· High degree of professionalism
· Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
· Experience with CRM software is a plus but not required.

LOCATION: The team works remotely with active web meetings and communication throughout the workday. We prefer the position to be based out of Michigan, Texas, or Florida. We are open to other locations for the right candidate. Thank you.

Job Duties:
  • Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained
  • Engage with multiple customers on a daily basis by reaching out to new clients, and by developing campaigns for maintaining customer loyalty
  • Record changes to customer accounts, updating service packages, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed
  • Other duties as requested
