Corporate Legal Internship – Summer 2021, Remote

Responsibilities:
NBCUniversal’s Government Affairs team focuses heavily on regulatory, legislative, and public policy matters related to intellectual property and broadcasting/media issues.

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

Prepare briefing memos, talking points, comment summaries, and other written material

Attend virtual conferences and events

Partner with management to determine the impact of federal actions on the organization, develop presentations and other written materials on findings, and act as an internal consultant to the government affairs teams

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • In pursuit of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress
  • Current class standing of 2L or above
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal

Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Coursework or experience in administrative and copyright law preferred
  • Interest in the broadcast, digital media, and telecommunications industries
  • Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
  • Ability to multitask and highly organized
  • Previous internship experience and on-campus involvement
