Carolina Eye Care on Merrimon, O.D. is seeking a full-time optician for our north Asheville, NC location. We are an independently-owned optometry practice that has been serving Western North Carolina for almost 10 years. Our down-to-earth management is looking for a candidate who will thrive in our team culture. Although we prefer a candidate who has sales or eye care experience, we will train the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, have problem-solving skills, and a passion for growing themselves as well as our practice. We promote from within our talent pool and offer opportunities for growth and professional development, to empower employees to take the next steps in their careers. The ideal candidate will also be expected to assist with day-to-day tasks outside of opticianry, including (but not limited to) answering phones, scheduling patients, insurance verifications, and other tasks that may arise.
