Commercial Ops Intern - Summer 2021

POSITION SUMMARY (Key tasks and outcomes):
The Commercial Operations Intern will be responsible for researching client ERP systems via remote access to assist in the validation of claims. The internal will assist with additional audit support tasks as identified, such as assisting with client reporting and duplicate payment research. The intern will work closely with Auditors and with the Central Team. 
Primary Tasks/Activities:
  • Research client ERP systems via remote access to:
  • Validate statement credits are in scope
  • Update posting and clearing information related to deduction claims
  • Identify necessary support information such as GL coding or originating payment information
  • Additional research as necessary
  • Assist with the creation of client update reports
  • Assist with any special client reporting
  • Research and validate duplicate payments
  • Pulling invoice copies from client systems
  • Screening within FirstStrike
  • Additional audit support tasks as identified
Knowledge Components:
  • MS Office functionality
Experience (Years and types):
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
