Global Media Strategy Intern (Virtual Assignment)

We are currently seeking junior and senior candidates who are working towards obtaining a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related fields for a virtual internship during the summer of 2021. 

Objectives/Goals of the Position:
The intern will support the development of AstraZeneca’s Media Strategy outside of the US through the development and deployment of a RFP focused on EU5 markets. Working on this initiative will gain exposure to some of the largest media and communications companies in the world through this RFP process. The intern will have the ability to develop an understanding of the vast space that is Paid Media with a focus on digital media and how it can support AstraZeneca’s Omnichannel roadmap. 
 
Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Partner closely with the GCDI Media Strategy Team, Global/EMEA procurement team Assist in the development of the RFP
  • Attend status meetings and agency pitch presentations
  • Support the development of a communications plan regarding the RFP
  • Analyze RFP and summarize the output and learnings of the RFP

Requirements:
  • College student majoring in digital media, marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Minimal 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Strong writing and speaking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent organizational/project management skills
  • Ability to simplify complex topics
