Claims Coordinator

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Claims Coordinator with a passion for organization to help operationalize our claim-related communications. 
 
First and foremost, we’re looking for an individual who values accuracy and is process-oriented. You thrive on organization, efficiency, and having a critical eye for details. You should be competent at operating compliantly in highly regulated environments and excited to implement and improve structure in all you do.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage processing of various mail and contact types related to claims, including but not limited to: collection, identification, sorting, labeling, uploads, and notifications
  • Adhere to set guidelines for accurate and consistent labeling of mail, email, or other contacts/resources as they are uploaded into our system(s) for record-keeping
  • Update and maintain claims data for in-house and partner-handled claims
  • Refine and document communication routing workflows
  • Support our product teams by recording and collecting data and feedback for future automation efforts
  • Physical and certified mail dropoff, pickup, and processing (temporary)

  • Bachelors degree
 
Unstoppable Qualities
  • Previous experience in claims industry or similar regulated industry (finance, healthcare, etc.)
  • Data entry experience
  • Experience developing and implementing operational processes or workflows
  • Exposure to working in a startup environment
