Business Analyst Intern, Customer Success Operations

As a new team within the Customer Success department at Cobalt, we’ve still got a lot of building to do in support of the company’s Customer Success teams, a new Self-Service program for our Growth segment of customers, and getting smart with data and analytics. We’ve laid down most of the groundwork, but now we’re ready to leverage data to become predictive and proactive to our customers’ needs. Identifiers we’re looking for include churn risk, upsell opportunity, product champions, forecasting, and areas for improved efficiency. We are looking for a top person to join us on this adventure who can take ownership and is excited to be a builder!
This is a paid position for a remote candidate based in the United States. We are looking for someone who can be with us for 30-40 hours per week; the internship will run for 10-12 weeks.
What You Would Do
  • Leverage data and analytics to help us become smarter in what we do
  • Build dashboards that give us snapshots of where we stand as a Customer Success organization
  • Drive customer satisfaction, engagement, and retention by identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Assist in automating the customer experience to be primarily tech-touch
  • Monitor day-to-day service execution against our KPIs
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in SaaS is preferable
  • Background in Business Analytics is beneficial
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Multi-tasking skills and the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities on-the-fly
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team
  • Enthusiasm for building something new and constantly looking for ways to improve
