Senior Manager, Data Strategy, Advanced Analytics

Altria Client Services LLC seeks Senior Manager, Data Strategy, Advanced Analytics (Richmond, VA). Responsibilities include: Create and manage enterprise level data integration and governance infrastructure for multiple sources of sales and marketplace data. Consult and collaborate with business stakeholders across the enterprise to understand business needs and develop high impact, outcome-driven, cost effective data architecture for data end-users. Work with the Information Services team to provide requirements for establishing the infrastructure to host data collected from different sources. Develop business intelligence rules necessary to cleanse and analyze data. Analyze and derive insights from data using statistical tools like R and SAS. Develop self-service analytical capabilities using tools like Tableau and Power BI. Utilize SQL Server, Teradata and Microsoft Azure technologies for internal databases. Work closely with Sales & Marketing to update and activate Altria’s multi-year analytical roadmap. Manage supplier relationship providing source data. Manage team of 5: 2 Data Engineers and 3 Data Analysts.

Requires, at minimum, bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Project Management or closely related field. Must have at least 8 years experience in the job offered or related. Experience must include: data governance, project management infrastructure, quality controls and change management; operating in areas of project management, requirements gathering, functional design, technical design, testing, and system implementation; providing technical expertise on business intelligence reporting solutions; identifying re porting gaps and creating a remediation plan to address identified issues; utilizing Microsoft Azure, Teradata, Tableau, Power BI and Business Objects; and, using SQL, PL/SQL as programming languages.
