Clinical Research Internship

T3D Therapeutics, Inc. is a small pharmaceutical company developing its lead drug product candidate, T3D-959, as a potential ‘First-in-Class’ and ‘Best-in-Class’ disease-modifying, breakthrough medicine for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease with the potential to slow, stop or reverse the course of the disease. T3D is offering an opportunity to jumpstart your career in clinical research and contribute to the mission to provide therapeutic benefit to patients experiencing neurodegenerative disease. This internship will provide a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to learn about clinical trial conduct. 

As an intern at T3D Therapeutics, you will:
·  Gain hands-on pharmaceutical industry experience by assisting on projects to support a Phase II clinical trial 
·  Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced team members 
·  Learn industry standards and systems (e.g. GCP-ICH, EDC database, clinical laboratory reports, neuropsychiatric testing database) 

Internship tasks and responsibilities: 
·  Assist with designated entry-level tasks including
  • Review weekly vendor listings and confirm appropriate follow up actions
  • Maintain tracker on subjects from screening and randomization, including reasons for delays, drug shipments, data entry verification, lab results, and protocol deviations
  • Download vendor data intermittently to check for known or unexpected issues
  • Assist in the identification of trends in the data
  • Review cognitive and clinical assessment feedback and report to study team
  • Schedule and create meetings via Microsoft Teams 
  • File and tag documents on SharePoint 
  • Create and post on social media platforms
·  Provide flexible and general support for successful execution of the trial 
·  Participate in project meetings as necessary 

Must have the following abilities:

  ·  Able to work independently and as part of a team 
  ·  Detail-oriented 
  ·  Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills 
  ·  Critical thinker and problem solver 
  ·  Interest in learning new tasks and providing flexible contributions 

Position information/requirements: 
  ·  Preferred start date June 1, 2021
·  40 hours/week, paid internship 
  ·  1-year duration 
·  100% remote, requires self-provided computer, phone, and reliable internet
· Recent completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field, or completion of a clinical research program 
·  Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
