Customer Operations Intern

 About the Position
SCOUT is seeking a Customer Operations Intern for a virtual role on our Customer Operations Team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to managing the wholesale website chat, returning voicemails, conducting outreach to customers, assisting with order processing and assisting with email inquiries. You will report to the Customer Operations Manager and work closely with the Customer Operations Coordinator and wholesale team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Manage and handle all incoming website chats from our wholesale retailers.
  • Conduct outreach to retailers and sales representatives via phone and email calls/emails regarding orders on hold and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with returning customers’ voicemails and email inquiries for issues such as tracking requests, invoice requests, inventory questions, and more.
  • Handle/process all damage and shortages inquiries.
  • Assist with entering and processing orders.
  • Complete a daily audit of the wholesale website.
  • Assist with our SCOUT Select corporate gifting customer inquiries as needed.
  • 20 hours a week availability 
  • Enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Wicked attention to detail and highly organized
  • Solid writing skills with firm grasp of grammar and punctuation
  • Clear and concise when speaking on the phone
  • Positive can-do attitude
Preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with the SCOUT brand
  • Customer Service experience
