Investment Banking Summer Analyst, Technology (Summer 2022)

Job Title:            Investment Banking Summer Analyst, Technology
Reports to:       Head of Technology Banking
Department:    Technology Investment Banking
Location:           Boston, San Francisco, New York City

SVB Leerink offers a ten-week Summer Analyst program to accomplished students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. This is an opportunity to be part of an experienced world-class investment bank focused on innovative companies in the Technology sector, where we continue to expand our Investment Banking efforts. The program provides the opportunity to assist in the day-to-day responsibilities of full time banking professionals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparation of client presentations
  • Prepare valuation analyses of clients and targets
  • Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements
  • Supporting live deals and major transactions
  • Generating and maintaining financial models and analysis’
  • Interact with internal banking team

Experience and Qualifications Required:
  • Exemplary academic record on-track to complete a Finance/Accounting or, Liberal Arts undergraduate degree in May 2023
  • Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting
  • Passion for technology
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
