Are you passionate about the mission of Planned Parenthood and ready to advocate for reproductive health rights in North Carolina? PPSAT is seeking a highly motivated, responsible, outgoing, creative, pro-choice Field Organizer to manage the agency’s grassroots activities in Western North Carolina.  
  
The Field Organizer conducts grassroots organizing activities that engage supporters and build capacity in their area. They provide key support to PPSAT electoral work, particularly around volunteer activities in targeted political candidate and issue-based campaigns helping to elect champions of sexual and reproductive healthcare. The Field Organizer conducts voter education, contact and engagement activities and develops leadership among young people partnering with student organizations at local colleges and universities with an emphasis on HBCUs. The ideal candidate for this position will be results-driven self-starter who is familiar with North Carolina and understands the major community players working on the ground.  

Location: This position is based in Western NC with preference for Charlotte, Asheville or the Triad.
 
Hours: 40 hours/week Monday through Friday but some night and weekend work will be required. Weekly hours can vary depending on electoral schedules and election cycles.

Salary: PPSAT’s compensation philosophy is based in equity and transparency. Built from data driven compensation studies, our positions are placed within a developed pay grade structure. This position’s minimum pay rate is $16.75/hour and starting offers are determined by both the candidate’s experience and internal equity within the assigned pay grade.
