Helpdesk Support Specialist
Job Summary/Company:
A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join their team in Winchester, VA. The Specialist will help provide support to 100+ local and up to 2000+ remote users. Candidate must be able to work a rotating schedule onsite, including weekends. All selected candidates will be required to undergo a criminal background investigation and credit check. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for network and remote computer users via in person, phone, chat, and email
- Quickly provide quality solutions to end users with your technical/customer service skills
- Provide phone support for mobile users and assist in education efforts to present new hardware and software to mobile users
- Assist in computer inventory collection efforts
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Education: some college preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in computer related/technical field
- Experience installing, supporting, and troubleshooting desktop and laptop Windows PCs, Android tablets, wired/wireless networking, custom applications, and other miscellaneous computer equipment and common software (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, VPNs, etc.)
- Work Status: due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred
- Bilingual talent is a plus
