Technology Intern
The Technology Intern’s role is to support the firm’s technology department and assist staff with technology issues from remote and deskside on workstation issues. This is a temporary position. The Technology Intern is expected to work 20 to 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate classes and study if needed.
Technology Intern Responsibilities:
+ Work on help desk tickets.
+ Assist with user setup.
+ Assist with technology related projects.
+ Provide a high quality, accurate work product.
+ Provide solid support to staff and respond to requests in a timely manner.
+ Demonstrate comprehension and understanding of technology concepts, products and solutions, and service delivery methodologies.
+ Exemplify Brand Attributes of the Firm.
+ Comply with all policies and procedures of the Firm.
+ Demonstrate ability to work individually or in a team environment.
+ Be dependable and conscientious.
Technology Intern Qualifications:
+ Knowledgeable of Windows (current version), Office (current version), Active Directory and basic Microsoft networking / operating systems.
+ Be proficient in the use of computers.
+ Basic Audio/Visual setup and assistance for meetings and presentations.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently.
Experience and Education:
+ Currently pursuing or has obtained a computer or technology related degree or past I. T. work related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Familiarity and working knowledge of Microsoft technologies. Ability to format documents and spreadsheets effectively and efficiently. Willingness and ability to learn and use new software applications as required.
