Associate Strategy Partner 2

Accountable for completion of significant components of Strategy Office projects. Manages, conducts problem-solving and analytical work, and works with client project sub-teams. Leads meetings independently with a wide range of physician and administrator stakeholders. Contributes to the standard content development in their area within SO as well as broader internal SO projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs key role in contributing on Strategy Office (SO) project team.
  • Leads independent parts of major SO projects including structuring work, completing analytics, developing recommendations, and working with organizational stakeholders on implementation plans.
  • Leads cross-Enterprise teams involved in project work.
  • Provides independent leadership of sub-teams or assists in leading larger project teams.
  • Leads and facilitates smaller client team meetings.
  • Develops expertise in a particular area of SO work, and creates various parts of SO toolkit for that area (e.g., core frameworks, standard processes, standard analytics, etc.).
  • Builds relationships with other Enterprise stakeholders in key areas related to projects.
  • Responsible for helping to influence thought processes in those areas.
  • Participates in projects that help set the SO agenda, improve team effectiveness/engagement, improve people processes, skill-building, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Complexity of Work:
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience, with majority of time in either healthcare (within organization or consulting) or technical role matching job.
  • Background in operations, expert or consultative role preferred.
  • History of achievement and ability to influence change in organizations required.
