Velvet Lane Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm based in NYC investing in & building obsessive emerging consumer brands (ex. Califia Farms, Art of Sport, and Hydrant).
What are we looking for?
We are looking to hire someone to manage the online community for one of our early-stage portfolio companies in the pet health space. Specifically, we're looking for someone to help build out and manage a community of dog lovers on Instagram. We seek ambitious and passionate individuals who have an unbeatable work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Manage a large community of dog lovers and spearheading influencer marketing
- Create and plan content across platforms (mainly Instagram and TikTok)
- Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns
Qualifications
- Must own a dog and be very passionate about the pet space
- Ability to work in-person at New York office (NO REMOTE)
- Extremely organized and meticulous
- Basic Canva or Photoshop skills
- Experienced with social media platforms (IG & TikTok mainly)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
