Corporate Intern - Sales Strategy Process Improvement

First Citizen’s Bank offers an exciting summer internship program that provides development opportunities and hands on work experience while creating a talent pipeline for the Bank. Our interns will apply classroom knowledge in a corporate environment while making a positive impact across the organization and the communities we serve. Sales and Customer Strategy
 
  • Develop insights using internal and external data and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, sales effectiveness, or operational efficiencies.
  • Provide analytical, process and project management support for sales and customer experience initiatives
  • Assist with sales focus resources, tools and communications that ensure the successful execution of sales strategy initiatives.
  • Research and report on trends in consumer and business banking strategies.
 
In addition, each Intern will be given the following opportunities:
  • Assigned a manager who can help guide them through the program on a daily basis.
  • Assignment of a mentor to facilitate a broader view of the Strategy Office.
  • Participation in unique banking related training events.
  • Involvement in networking and teambuilding events.
  • A project designed to improve a defined process within the Strategy Office will be assigned to each Intern to plan and execute during the internship.
  • A wrap-up presentation will be prepared by the Interns to be shared with the Chief Strategy Officer and other key leaders in the company to outline their accomplishments and experience during the internship.
  • Participate in a line of business project designed to improve a process or solve a problem that will be presented to senior leadership at the close of the internship
  • Attend professional development sessions, informational meetings, networking and community service events while having a dedicated manager and program manager to help you navigate the bank and its internship program.
