Corporate Intern - Enterprise Data & Analytics
First Citizen’s Bank offers an exciting summer internship program that provides development opportunities and hands on work experience while creating a talent pipeline for the Bank. Our interns will apply classroom knowledge in a corporate environment while making a positive impact across the organization and the communities we serve. This intern will focus on Enterprise Data & Analytics, working with the following:
- Business & system requirements
- Data analytics & reporting
- ETL programming
- SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
- IBM DataStage
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Participate in a line of business project designed to improve a process or solve a problem that will be presented to senior leadership at the close of the internship
- Attend professional development sessions, informational meetings, networking and community service events while having a dedicated manager and program manager to help you navigate the bank and its internship program.
Basic Qualifications:
- Enrolled (during the time of the summer program) as a rising Junior, Senior, or Master's Program at an accredited four year institution - pursuing a degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS, Accounting, Mathematics, Analytics, Economics or other applicable degree.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3.0 minimum GPA
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Possess a positive attitude, naturally curious and enjoys collaborating with others
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to adapt and adjust priorities based on business needs
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
