Investment Banking Analyst
To support the firm’s continued growth, Armentum Partners is seeking a new Analyst / Associate to work with the team on transaction execution. This will be an entry level role that will provide the right candidate with an unparalleled introduction into the growing world of private debt.
Armentum Partners is an investment bank that focuses exclusively on non-dilutive financing transactions, including venture debt, royalties, convertible notes, and more for venture backed startups. Armentum typically completes between $1 and 2 billion in transactions annually across both tech and healthcare, throughout both the United States and Europe. Armentum is a leading advisor in the private credit space with combined over 100 years’ experience across the 8 members as investment bankers, traders, operators, lenders and more.
Primary functions of the role would include:
- Financial modeling
- Working closely with senior team members on marketing materials
- Working with client management teams on transaction execution
- Owning internal tracking processes
- Ad hoc tasks when needed
Preferred qualifications:
- 0 – 1 years’ experience in banking, finance, or other relevant areas
- Background / familiarity with credit underwriting is preferred
- An outstanding academic record (recommended course work in finance, economics and accounting)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work with little oversight / instruction
- Fast paced learner
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- This role will be located in San Francisco / the bay area with the expectation that the candidate will work in person 1-2 days a week
- Preference of candidates that can join in next 4 months, but open to those graduating in summer 2022
