Spring 2022 Congressional Internship
The Office of Congressman David Price (NC-04) is pleased to offer summer and semester internship opportunities for undergraduate students who would like to learn first-hand about the workings of Capitol Hill and constituent services in my Washington and District offices. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the legislative process, interact with constituents, develop research skills, and assist with administrative responsibilities.
Internships are open to undergraduate students regardless of major, and consist of our Summer Internship Program and our Academic Year Internship Program Session.
The Academic Year Internship Program consists of two semester-long sessions. This program is open to undergraduate students who are attending a DC-area college or who are participating in a semester in Washington DC program sponsored by a college or university.
The Fall internship session runs from September through December and the Spring internship session runs from January through April. Fall and Spring internships are unpaid, and participants must receive academic credit to be considered. The schedule of semester interns may be flexible depending on the program.
All applicants must submit the following materials as part of their application, in addition to the application form below to be considered for a position:
- Resume (Required for both Summer & Semester Programs)
- Cover Letter detailing why you’d like to intern in the Office of Congressman Price and what ties you have to the 4th Congressional District (Required for both Summer & Semester Programs)
- Unofficial Transcript (Required for both Summer & Semester Programs)
- Copy of FAFSA (Strongly recommended for Summer Program only)
Academic Year Internship Program Application Timeline:
- October 12th, 2021: Application Opens
- October 31st, 2021: Application Closes
- November 10th, 2021: Internship Offers Extended and Notification to All Applicants
- January 10th, 2021: Internship Start Date
