Communications Coordinator
The Communications Coordinator will work in Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology with the departmental administrative team to support the development of programs and materials to communicate information to various audiences. Duties will focus on digital communications in support of recruiting, education and other initiatives as determined by department leadership.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Write, design & produce communications including video, web, print, special events & presentations.
- Assist faculty, students, and staff in creating educational/research videos in the video studio.
- Design graphics for flyers and digital banners for department seminars.
- Write copy and create visual content for multiple Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts.
- Maintain copy and graphics on all department websites.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Communications-related field.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and basic video production preferred
General understanding of Communications frameworks preferred
