Project Coordinator/Business Analyst

Position Purpose:
We are seeking a Project Coordinator/Business Analyst who will provide quality support to the project teams, track progress, task completion, schedules, program and project level reporting, and contribute to project success by ensuring execution of project management best practices. This individual will also provide business analysis support to the team defining requirements, verifying customer needs are met and establishing standard processes and tools for the project. . This position reports to the Project Director and works closely with the Project Management Team.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with the project teams to maintain an Integrated Master schedule, understand and assist with tracking all work, task and project assignments.
  • Monitor and report on project schedule adherence.
  • Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes and presentations.
  • Assist in follow up on project issues/risks, dependencies, schedule and status information.
  • Develop project status reports.
  • Handle schedules and conduct/facilitate project and program meetings.
  • Provide support in the development of scheduled deliverables and other communications.
  • Record and maintain project issues, risks, scope changes, decision logs, schedule status and variance, and resource management issues.
  • Work with the Project Director to keep others informed about project status.
  • Manage time and set priorities and deadlines appropriately.
  • Work with minimum supervision.

Location: Washington, DC area (mostly remote work with some on-site at CORMAC offices in Washington D.C. area)
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of Project Coordinator/Specialist experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, effective deliverables on-time and be a valuable contributor to the development of cost-effective solutions.
  • 3 years of experience using MS Project.
  • Technically competent with various software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio, and Adobe.
  • Experience managing others schedules
  • Highly detail oriented and able to take general instructions and run with the execution of tasks.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources
